The mobile web has up to this point mainly been viewed through webkit browsers and to a lesser extent Opera and Netfront based browsers. Over the next year it seems that MozilIa’s Fennec browser and Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 9 will be increasingly used on mobile platforms. The addition of these browsers to the mix will make the job. of developing for the mobile Web that much more difficult ‘the problems will probably not arise with display issues on these newer browsers, but with the extra capabilities of HTML5 , storage commination with servers and integration with capabilities like geolocation.
