			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The mobile web has up to this point mainly been viewed through webkit browsers and to a lesser extent Opera and Netfront based browsers. Over the next year it seems that MozilIa&#8217;s Fennec browser and Microsoft&#8217;s Internet Explorer 9 will be  increasingly used on mobile platforms. The addition of these browsers to the mix will make the job. of developing for the mobile Web that much more difficult &#8216;the problems will probably not arise with display issues on these newer browsers, but with the extra capabilities of HTML5 , storage commination with servers and integration with capabilities like geolocation. II tried out the wonderful financial Times mobile web app and was not surprised to find that it  didn&#8217;t like my android phone its platform sensing seemed to hare a very small list of supported platforms. I think that for the foreseeable future apps will take a very cautious approach to support of different browsers and will say Sorry you are not supported quite often.</p>
<p>While it is healthy to have a number of  It actually seems that the introduction of these new browsers will be the major limit on the development of the mobile web as a platform</p>
